it has been a while since i have set up ssh/vnc/ubuntu 10.04 ssh is working fine what i did was

sudo apt-get install x11vnc

i start the ssh connection to the computer with the server...

maybe trying the 64bit iso and see if that helps

what is the os your trying to mout the share on ?

if it is linux...

on the computer where the files are there needs to be:
samba
sudo apt-get install samba

samba password
sudo smbpasswd -a USERNAME

sambafs
sudo apt-get install smbfs

i just mounted a share on one ubuntu 10.04 computer in another ~/mnt dir of another ubuntu 10,04 computer.
is there a way to lock the file that is being shared on the computer that the file came...

i just did this to day, it may be your mount point shouldn't it be ~/mnt/music
