Actually, I was trying to implement this feature http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3649874/how-to-get-keyboard-state-in-linux/4225290#4225290 first; then i realized that no cat command worked...
I have to deploy this to users that don't have sudo access...
I'm trying to access the various input nodes by doing
$ cat /dev/input/mouse0
However every kind of command ends with "Permission Denied".
I'm quite sure of being able to run these...
i was able to enable vaapi only with the latest libva sources and the latest drivers compiled against it.
then again, most of the videos crashed with it, so i'd have been better off
the grub update was the culprit
i reset i8042.nopnp in the kernel line and everything started working

Hi! I read on the linux-ntfs project that the driver is still unavailable for 64bit computers (because they don't have 64 bit computers to test the driver)
