    [ubuntu] Torrenting through a proxy

On Ubuntu, I know that a user can set a global proxy setting (through a gui, Network Proxy) which will affect all protocols (right?). However, I have set up a server box (no gui) and would like for...

  8. Poll: Re: If you have, why have you stopped helping in the support forums?

Most of the time, the problems that I know how to solve already have solutions posted by someone else. If I actually see a thread that I can help in, though, I will (of course, it's been a while).

Re: Compile external files into a binary (c++)

Wow! That sounds like it will work. For what I need, OpenGL need only access a char* that contains the image data, and that can be easily stored in a variable. That sounds like a great idea, thanks!

Compile external files into a binary (c++)

    Is this possible?

For example, I'm making something in OpenGL that uses textures and would like it if the texture images could be packed in with the compiled program binary.

    Thanks,

    Re: CSS: IE versus Firefox/Chrome

Yeah, that's still how IE does it. I just decided to make ternary statements that set the height/width values to a little bit larger for IE.

    Re: CSS: IE versus Firefox/Chrome

I think that sounds like a good idea, but nonetheless, I can't understand why my widths for divs are differen't in IE. And, for that matter, it seems to have handled "top" and "left" wrong as well. ...

  24. [ubuntu] Upon login I need to run compiz --replace otherwise compiz doesn't start on its own.
