    bought a Dell and it took about 4 minutes to boot. I did a restore on it(nothing had been changed though) and it now boots in about 40 seconds. I guess something was bad in original install.:-k

    ordered a Dell 1420n. I hope it is worth the effort of learning Ubuntu. I have been playing with Gutsy for about a week now and have enjoyed it so far. Probably have a few ???? when it arrives.
