Yeah, it couldn't resolve everything, either could aptitude safe-upgrade. Totally bizarre.

I'm trying do-release-upgrade -d and am getting the following error:

Which Nvidia card are you using?
I use gkrellm which in my opinion has a slightly nicer UI for that stuff.
Post the full output of 'apt-get update' here and maybe we can help you out.
I went ahead and submitted a but report at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers/+bug/656330
I'm probably going to be at my office for a while but if you guys could...
Yup, it blows :(
Out of curiosity, have you tried the 260 driver yet for nvidia with this setup?
Thanks for the writeup.
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=155238 was already there so I appended to it.

Sweet, thanks!
I updated to 2.6.32-15-generic today, rebooted and noticed my system kept going into low graphics mode. Is there a way to get it to persist through kernel updates?
Cheers
Your opinion is shared by plenty of people. Stability is worth far more than nifty gadgetry that might only work for 10% of the users.
I certainly find the mentality of the development here interesting in the respect that most organizations (with good reason) cut a release of a product with stable features by default and offer...
