Just add something trivial to it, even a comment saying you're still checking up on it. That change will update the last changed date. Its an interesting thought really.
Thanks for clearing that up. ^_^d
I will remember to do so in the future, thanks! :)
I'm glad to see this thread is still active! It's been quite a while since I've visited. I was hoping someone could help me.
I just recently upgraded to 20.04 and only until now is conky giving me...
i wasn't aware i was "stealing" a thread, skap. if you look at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats
you will see there is an entry for the main variants of ubuntu. just tried using...
I'll just use this thread since the reply is related. I just installed xubuntu 20.04 and like every reinstall, i go to install xubuntu-restricted-extras. This time however, I get this message,
"E:...
If it's "washed out" perhaps there is a setting somewhere to increase color saturation?
If I'm not mistaken there is an option in Steam to choose where to download and install game files.
Jeez. I read about 7 pages of this thread, happily so, until I realized this was a year old! :p
I was wondering why there were so many references to Ubuntu phone. I could've sworn that and Unity...
Ah, that must be what I was missing! Thanks, floyd! I think I could manage from there.
I eventually just gave up with this method and uninstalled strongswan.
After asking else where, someone...
Nothing yet? I've been thinking that maybe I should just try to tunnel my traffic via ssh. I guess having a vpn at home might afford a few more features, not really sure.
Has anyone been able to check over the guide? Is it the guide that's an issue or am I just not getting it?
I'd really like to move on to the next step or if nothing else, move on to a different...
I'm finally getting around to making a roadwarrior style vpn for when I'm out and about with my android phone and such.
I found this tutorial as pointed to from Ubuntu's Community documentation. ...
Decent organization from the start, DB or not. WHat I'm looking for is a way to sort that 100,000 in a jumbled mess into distinct directories. Virtual organizations do no good if they don't invoke...
I'm sure many people have the same issue of having tons of pictures and not everyone is great at sorting them in the most organized way.
A lot of these pictures probably don't have the most...
I would also like to know if there's a fix for this. My situation is a little different as I have the infamous optimus setup. I haven't installed any proprietary drivers or any of the switching...
You're absolutely right about how helpful the linux community, and more specifically, the ubuntu community really is. I'm sure it'll work out eventually. As these optimus cards start to decline in...
Lookin good as always. ^_^d
Haven't messed with ol' Conky in quite some time.
Let me preface this by saying that I used Xubuntu for a few years and never really noticed that there was an issue with screen tearing with in-browser videos or even much in the way of the desktop. ...
How did it all go so backwards since 15.04 I wonder? I know bumblebee has had some development since then, but it just seems that it's too far behind or that resources (not enough apparently) have...
Since this is the newest Optimus thread I found, I guess I can ask here. I have an HP dv6 with an i3 and a 650M. I used to use bumblebee back on 14.04 around the time of 14.04 till perhaps...
You probably mistyped it. Happens to me sometimes. :-P
Try again and report back.
I also have a 650M in my hp laptop. This particular graphics card has the (in)famous Optimus technology. Basically, it's supposed to switch between the onboard graphics for low intensity tasks and...
It's been a while since I've posted, but I haven't really done much with my conky since then. Using curl fixed my issue with getting my external IP to show up. Eventually I think I'll work on...
