I found the U community to be pretty quick with fixing issues so.......it's a done deal, I have decided to fork out and buy the R580.
USB3 would be good for an external hd. Maybe in the future ;)....

I to am looking at buying this model of laptop (it's red so it must go faster.....right?)
Anyway I have been using Ubuntu for a couple of years now and am wondering how you like it...
