Thanks for all the help guys
Why would a script want to check $_SERVER['REQUEST_METHOD'] == 'POST' before running if nothing has been submitted to it? Do you have to submit anything to a page to make it POST?
I'm editing some PHP scripts and running them on Apache. The scripts check the server's Request Method before starting. It's been a long time since I've written any PHP and I know very little about...
I had no softkeys before but now also have no aplet control or power management control. I makes it almost impossible to seem my screen in bright light :(

I thought it was funny :-k
Just installed the latest version and it just gets better and better. You all rock!
I just watched this and came straight here to post it. Looks like I'm behind the times. Very funny video though and they mention Ubuntu!!
Microsoft have promised support for Silverlight on Linux. But just like Adobe and Flash is probably not high on their list of priorities - which is fair enough considering Linux's small user base.
The Devon and Cornwall LUG is still very much alive and if you live in Plymouth I recommend you join that as they do many events in and around Plymouth. There was little interest in setting up a...
Supported software? I've never been able to get it to tune the channels properly.
You need to look at it's size in comparison to the price. It's true you can get much better features and performance for a similar price but if you want something the same size you have to double...
Ubuntu is released under the GPL license. Mark Shuttleworth doesn't have the right to restrict access to any part of it (I believe even the brand and logo are GPL'ed).
Adobe could still do what...
I found Kaffeine to be the easiest to setup and use for DVB-T. I've tried MythTV/Mythbuntu a couple of times now and it's waaaaaaaay to complicated and overloaded with features.
I'm going to try...
Adobe Opens the FLV and SWF Formats
Everyone on Digg seems to think this means open source Flash. Is this the case as it doesn't look like it too me?
(Wahoo! 200 Posts :))
I have the same issue with a Adevent 8212. I don't think it has a light sensor on it?
Optical audio is what the Mac Mini does better.
Nope. The gPC doesn't have optical audio out. But I'd never thought of getting a Mac Mini for Ubuntu before.
Why doesn't anyone put optical audio out on these things! They would make ideal media PCs if they did. I still think I'll get a Mac Mini over these.
Did you switch your user agent with each of those?
It needs s-video out and optical audio and then it would be a great media PC.
I wanted to use the ITV streaming service but it seems if you're not using IE it wants you to use Silverlight instead of Flash?!!? The weirdest choice by ITV. Setup a Flash video service but only...
I'm happy with Kaffeine but XBox MCE does look cool. MythTV has problems because there are no graphics drivers for the PS3 so the video runs slowly. There is a fix but it's nowhere near perfect...
I have an old Shuttle PC with Ubuntu, a DVB USB and Kaffeine plugged into my TV through S-Video. It's cool but I want to start toward HD now it's all Blueray and something quieter and neater would...
