    This issue has been solved. I realised the answer myself. Thanks anyway.

  2. Re: Determining Client Screen width for use in PHP

    By using CSS you should be able to optimize your divs for all screen resolutions (PC, Mac) which would resize/overflow/float in such a way that the images appear wider horizontally on big resolutions...

    Re: Qt designer and netbeans

    The tool that converts the *.ui files (XML geenrated by the designer) into .cpp and .h (for use with the API) is called uic. All I could find about it was the uic man pages. I'm not sure if there is...
  4. Re: Determining Client Screen width for use in PHP

    Re: Help me with a PHP script

    Do you want to break in the middle of a word or do you want to break in the middle of two words? If it's the latter, just fix the width of whatever HTML element contains the comment. Then the...

    Re: Round to nearest power of 10

    WW: Your code works great :-)

    I just reduced the equation to:

    10^(floor(log(2*x)))

    But yes it works just as I wanted it to. Thanks a lot :-)

    Re: Round to nearest power of 10

    Actually, we have to consider 5 as the mean of 0 and 10, and not 5.5.

    And WW: There is also a need for accounting that log(5) > 0.5....

    So it would be something like:
    10^round(log(x) - log(5)...

    Re: How can I learn PHP easily?

    Crap, my Firefox 'Find' tool had case sensitivity on, so I got no results when searching for 'web dev' on the stickies. Sorry.

    Well I am rather confused by the Original Post but all I have to think about it is.... Programming languages are context free, and all their behaviour is (mostly) well defined, because they were...

    If a Wiki is indeed what you are looking for, try DokuWiki. It has a very simple installation, very easy interface, very easy markup and best of all no MySQL needed. And it's still efficient. It also...

    What about something along the lines of:

    char a_string[20];
    sprintf(a_string,"A String $%d",A_VALUE);

    printf("%s",a_string); // A String $2
