I have a laptop ubuntu 9.10 installed and desktop linux mint installed 10. the Wicd would give error bad password and the network manager would just loop and keep asking for key. This worked for me...

it might not be supported in 5 months but in my oppion it is the most stable release to date, much snapper then any 10.00 release and it just works, installing it as we speak, I have it on my lap...
ok I have a dual boot win7 & Ubuntu 10.10 installed while being completely disappointed in the last 2 10.00 releases I want to overwrite the 10.10 to the 9.10 while still not touching the Windows 7...

would like to see a poll on what people use, I think 9.10 32 bit is the most stable and will keep using it.
umm pull off the side of the desktop and look, if it's a laptop put your ear up to the vent
use Bt-Defender more stable without all the BS to make it work
good link for 9.10 ubuntu install worked like a charm and BT-D has not given me any problem of what so ever, Avast fix your product!...
upgrades seem to be more of a pain then what it's worth, clean install is your best bet, and as far as I'm concerned 9.10 is the most stable
