    Well, I would say it not tightly integrated with the desktop.
    You can easily remove the firefox folder/content and it will not brake anything well.. maybe the yelp if you are really unlucky.

    Well you can edit the dpkg/apt-get installed file / source file.And revert back, but you will probably brake everything :)

    Sorry but the menu editor does not have the capability to add/remove items from the system menu. only system / sub-menus and application.

    Hi.
    Nope it doesn't work have done that, have tried the gconf-editor no success.

    Have search in the /usr/share/application folder for an entry nothing.

    Have removed / added the indicator...

    Have search high and low, but not found any way to remove the lock screen entry under the system menu in Natty (Gnome Classic).

    Any tips on how to remove the menu entry?

    1 open your home folder
    2 press CTRL + H
    3 locate the folder called .mozilla
    4 delete it
    5 start Firefox and see whats happening

    Hum that's funny. On ubuntu smart a get sector error on all disk I have tried. Old as new ones.

    Have not had any issues since I removed the FireFTP.

    But it's still to early to say.

    yes I have seen alot of threads on this, but not solution like you say.

    Have install FF from Mozilla and a new profile, no add-ons.

    So it's just to wait and see.
