    Ah, I take back what I said before; I did not set Dvorak as my default using the gnome-keyboard-properties program... Dvorak IS my system keyboard layout (selected as default during installation......

    Well that sounds terrible. Maybe try

    sudo gnome-keyboard-properties

    and do the same thing, as a superuser.

    Are you asking about how to get several layouts on your computer? I have QWERTY, Dvorak, and German layouts installed, and I can toggle between them by pressing both Shifts at the same time.

    For a long time now, I have not been able to connect with a wired connection. In wicd, it gets stuck on "Obtaining IP address..."

    same question here... I've gotten to the point where I can compile xspim, and even run it, but all the buttons are blank and it is completely non-functional.
