I recently changed my desktop from windows to linux (I had already primarily been using linux on the laptop). I've been having a lot of annoying issues with getting my display issues sorted...

I finally solved the issue. Silly ME.

I set the "Secure Boot" Option in bios to "Disabled" and that fixed the issue.

edit: SOLVED

Set "Secure Boot" to "Disabled" in bios. fixes issue.
