    I was stupidly omiting 'Wacom' from the device id, sorry, 4 eyes are often better than 2 :)

    cth-461 both pen & touch are working for me on a fresh clean vanilla Lucid install using linuxwacom-0.8.6 and xf86-input-wacom from GIT except that with touch I can't just click or double click...

    the latest version from jaunty-updates is 2.6.28-15.52 while on https://launchpad.net/~linux-phc/+archive/ppa is 2.6.28-15.50.

    I seriously hope Karmic is not shipping with acpi modules compiled...

    I hope so, but I've no evidence that KK will have acpi-cpufreq as a module.

    for Jaunty there's a phc patched kernel ppa

    Dell XPS M1530 ships with an ALPS touchpad that doesn't seem to support two finger recognition but....

    Be sure to have


    Option "SHMConfig" "true"

    in your /etc/X11/Xorg.conf...
