[xubuntu] Re: Change repositories through command line

I have 248 MB of RAM. I do have a good connection: I downloaded the 8.10 and 9.04 upgrades just yesterday.

[xubuntu] Re: Change repositories through command line

I figured out a way to upgrade to 9.04. After some more researching, I found some sort of driver for the CyberBlade.
Now it tells me that no screens are found and that 'no such file or directory...

[xubuntu] Re: Xubuntu freezes after logo during boot

Ok, so I got my internet connection working and I did all you told me up there; however, the last command didn't do much at all. It just gave me what seems to be an error message. It reads:

[xubuntu] Re: Xubuntu freezes after logo during boot

Thanks for the input! I don't remember what kind of video card I have, and no, I do not see colors and shapes. All that happens is that, after a certain point during startup, the screen goes black...

[xubuntu] Xubuntu freezes after logo during boot

I installed a fresh copy of Xubuntu just a few days ago. In verbose mode, it appears that it freezes right as it tries to start GNOME Display Manager. Another two lines appear under that (I can't...

1 ) It is so customizable (skins, etc)
    2 )Reliable
    3 ) Awesome extensions
4 ) Efficient Tabbed browsing (IE7 is horrible at this)
    5 ) Password Manager
    7 ) Nice,...

Re: Mac-style Menu Bar for GTK and Java/Swing applications!

After following Yuzem's suggestion, I have the same problem (on page 64). I do not understand why. I have been trying to fix that stupid bar for at least a week. I tried many times to fix this...
