    Well, unless you use the SVN version, you won't be able to transfer any AAC files, like from iTunes, because amaroK doesn't handle the tags yet.

    IMO, this is a load of crap, since there are libraries all over the place in Breezy that allow playback of AAC files -- like gstreamer0.8-faac, libmp4v2, etc. So, why can't gtkpod be compiled...

    I'd guess you configured wine as root. Try
    sudo chown -R <yourusername>:users /home/<yourusername>/.wine

    It does transfer the video files, and if you transfer more than one, you'll see this.
