I been trying to get webgl to work, but so far all I get are error messages from Chrome (google's browser) and Firefox. In firefox I set the webgl.osmesalib to /usr/lib/libGL.so but errors still...

Yeap...Ubuntu is outdated from the repository is outdated. I would recommend to use Windows XP (with the updated drivers if you are using an intel graphic card) and Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2005....
