    Mono (constantly and seriously) lags in both quality of implementation (inc. speed) and release cycles compared to .NET on windows, because of that if you really want to do serious cross-platform...

    About 8 years ago (maybe more) all java.awt.* gui classes like buttons, labels, panels have been deprecated.
    In other words it looks like you are reading an old book.

    Chrome got even faster startup?

    I noticed for the last few days that Chrome takes like half a second to perform a cold startup, not to mention a warm one. Is it just me experiencing these ridiculously quick startup times?
