This looks, to me, like you are attempting to build the module from source code without having the kernel headers or source code on your machine. Am I right?

If you wish to reformat it to fat32 dos;
in a terminal do; sudo mkdosfs -F 32 /dev/<your drive number here> (i.e. /dev/sdb1 or similar)
Does sudo fdisk -l in a terminal tell you anything useful?
