    Files work fine in Mplayer, VLC crashes upon startup with the files that Totem can't play.

    Moovida media center also fails to play the files and requests an Mpeg audio codec.

    I just downloaded and tested the file, un-tars fine here using the Ubuntu extraction program on the right click menu.

    Also un-tars fine from the tar command: tar -xvf sync...
