It's working perfectly on my machine and the install was hassle-free.
So install GNOME Shell in 11.04 with the PPA.
2006, can't even remember the first version of Ubuntu I used...
I'm currently using all three and GNOME Shell is my favourite by far.
Am I the only one who likes that this discussion thread has been marked [SOLVED]? :D
Anyway, for the time being, I've moved my main computer to Debian but have installed Natty on my girlfriend's...
That's the plan.
Ubuntu GNOME Remix is next ;)
Will be sad to see the coffee aspect gone but the new theme in line with the current branding looks great and is long overdue.

I have the same problem on a D410.
I've got a few canvas pairs of trainers that I wear mostly; blue Adidas and red Converse hi-tops for casual and all black Converse hi-tops for work.
Think the GNOME2 option in Natty recently got changed to be more like the current set-up. I remember using it when it had the BFB in Classic but apparently it's back to the Apps Places System menu...
Just GNOME2 with a couple of tweaks in Maverick 10.10.

I was amazed it took 3 pages for someone to recommend this! AVG used to be great, but it became ridiculous with the amount of pop-ups telling you to upgrade and then leading you through an internet...
MP3 wise? Easily over 500 gigs, but I've also got a sizeable vinyl collection that I stopped counting long ago.
This is the first thing I do when installing recent versions of Ubuntu! Easily done using Ubuntu Tweak and using image at /usr/share/icons/gnome/scalable/places/ubuntu-logo.svg
What problems did you have under 10.04? nVidia generally seems to play nicely with Ubuntu. If you have trouble with proprietary drivers you can always uninstall them again.
Make sure you are set to UK in the Text tab.
