Same for me.
Refind shows a lot of entries comming from the ubuntu /root partition (sda7 in my case) , but i am not able to boot them.
Had to copy it to sda1, just like you.

looks as follows:
suspend works with nvidia enabled and disabled. however, if i suspend without the nvidia, i can't enable it anymore after the suspend. my system freezes then.

so you are suspending with the card disabled ?

I did so, in order to get a dualboot with Win8 and Ubuntu, but without any success, at least so far.
The Win8 installer fails to install on EFI...

Did anyone try a dualboot configuration with linux and windows ? :P
