Well, I got terminal working, and upgraded/updated worked, I just had to put sudo behind the command.

I just got this when I FINALLY got into terminal and tried to update/upgrade..


E: Could not open lock file /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (13: Permission denied)
E: Unable to lock directory...

Can somebody please tell me what the hell is wrong?

Well, after a long time of figgiting, I got flash objects to respond, but they have a tiny bit of a lag.

Any way to speed it up with terminal, or any tricks?

Thank you so much!! I got it to work, I was running the 32bit plugin, and I edited it in terminal but forgot to put "export"

gksudo gedit /usr/lib/nspluginwrapper/i386/linux/npviewer

Did you use the soundboards on the site? The flash objects (and it just isn't this site alone) but when I click things they are either unresponsive or doing something weird, or not doing the right...

This may seem redundant, but I'm having Flash Object problems, when I put my mouse over it, it seems to work fine, it'll highlight it or what knot, but when I click on it, no sound, or video.
