Yes (it does for me), though I have not tried personalizing the buttons, the hovering and round touch-scroll both work fine for me. It seems to work just as in Windows, albeit with some extra tweaks...

I did install OSS4 once, but purged it shortly afterwards. I haven't particularly tweaked any sound settings... except for /etc/libao.conf. I changed the default_driver from alsa to oss. Changing it...
