  1. [ubuntu] Re: Solution to Broadcom 43xx Card Problem (11.04, Natty Narwhal)

That was actually the first topic I found in trying to solve the problem. Nothing I tried in there worked. As I stated, I tried using the b43 driver instead of the STA driver, and it still didn't...
  2. [ubuntu] Re: Solution to Broadcom 43xx Card Problem (11.04, Natty Narwhal)

Like misetusame, I have a Lenovo S12 -- which appears to use the 4312 card -- and wireless worked just fine in Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10. I just tried upgrading to 11.04 this morning and it is totally...

    [ubuntu] Re: 10.10 shutdown hanging

I have to emend my report a bit. The machine does actually hang when attempting to restart. Additionally, I can't CTRL-ALT-DELETE to force a restart when it hangs, either.

So for now, the only way...

    [ubuntu] Re: 10.10 shutdown hanging

I just upgraded from 10.04 to 10.10 and I'm having this exact issue myself.

    Lenovo ThinkPad T61p
    Ubuntu 10.10 (upgraded from 10.04) 64-bit

Also, my hard drive is entirely encrypted. The fact...
