    Mine font looks smaller, i have Sans 9 in Application font. Try with this size and compare with screenshots. Also DPI settings can change a lot, I use 96.

    It is pretty easy, all libraries as freetype, cairo, libxft are allready patched with all that LCD-cleartype-subpixel-autohint stuff. We need just turn it on, because they are disabled by default....
