    Oh yeah, everything looks fine until I start the format. Like I said, the zeroing worked fine without any errors, so it pops up in the system fine.

    I've heard no particular complaints for that model. I say go with it. Make sure not to be cheap with the warranty options. Dell is excellent with handling warranty issues.
