  3. [SOLVED] Re: Disk utility crashes when run self test is performed in ubuntu 12.04

I added the ppa, and yes it now works. But it looks awful compared to the stock Ubuntu version and seems to lack functionality. It now starts a test without crashing, but gives an error if you try to...

Re: my weather indicator doesn't work 12.04

According to Synaptic, the dependancy for my-weather is python 2.7. So even on a fresh install it wont work. It seems the update to my-weather has not been packaged correctly.
  5. [ubuntu] Re: File Browser search hidden files/folders (8.10)

"Places..Search for files" was not finding anything in hidden folders for me, with the "Show hidden and backup files" option on. I know it used to work. So I tried removing the option, then re-added...

[all variants] Re: CodeWarrior Startup crash

I installed CW 10.0 SE on Ubuntu 10.04 (32 bit), and it would crash every time it tried to run. There was a java error related to PEmicro. I have since installed CW 10.1 SE and that runs fine, except...

    [ubuntu] Re: Executable Bit

Its not just a wine or Nautilus issue, it goes deeper than that. If you put in a CD that contains an exe file, Ubuntu mounts this as /media/DISC_NAME (none executable) instead of /media/CDROM...
  12. [ubuntu] Re: Nautilus/File Roller: "Extract Here" does NOT actually extract to "Here"
