I'm not sure what is happening here. My keyboard buttons for volume seem to work, however the first few steps seem to go from mute to quiet, but then the next step doubles the volume...
I downloaded the dict-moby-thesaurus but it didn't seem to show up in StarDict.
I did however install Artha and it is great! Thanks for the heads up on that program. I'm going to mark this...

Hey everyone, I just upgraded (yes, not fresh install which may be a step in the near future) to 9.10 and after I boot up every time I have green lines that look like the ubuntu boot splash screen...
I just checked the BIOS and the only option it gave me in there was to turn the Num Lock key on or off.
I like the sound of that, but yeah, I would need help writing the script because I really havent dont much scripting at all...

You can go to System > Preferences > Screensaver then click on Power Management and put "Put display to sleep when inactive for" to Never. I think that should do it.
