How did you get the blur? are you using compiz?

The Laptop. Arch + Kdemod 4.3. Arora is not quite as fast as chromium, but it sure fits in better looks wise. Bespin widget theme with a tiny bit of transparency. Nitrogen window decorations....

That will change the opacity of the etire window, contents and all. To achieve translucent window backgrounds you need to compile the bespin from source with ARGB enabled, then use the Translucent...

I would love to, but (correct me if i'm wrong) i don't think you can add alpha blur with kde/kwin!

edit: In fact I just discovered the blur kwin effect will return in kde 4.5 :)
