[SOLVED] Re: Can't print from Evince

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have found that it is only certain PDF files that have a problem. I, too, 'solved' the problem by installing acroread, which printed the document perfectly.

    [SOLVED] Can't print from Evince

When I try to print a pdf document from Evince, everything seems to go normally, and when I click 'print', it seems to show the pages going to the printer queue, but the print job never gets made.

[SOLVED] Re: Can't get recent builds to boot

    Thanks for your feedback, guys.

I have managed to make a bootable USB stick. I used gparted to install a new partition table, and let it format the stick. Things worked nominally after that. That...

Have you tried it with Firefox or some other browser? That would be my first line of trouble-shooting.
  9. [ubuntu] Re: Still using 14.04 beta - Do I need to update main repo?

A lot of the repos need some time to catch up with the final. They typically don't track the dev-cycle dailies - too much change. Now that the dust has settled, they'll catch up.

I downloaded and installed today's daily from cdimage/daily-live. Just now I've downloaded the Official Release version. All I can say is they have the same exact byte-count. I doubt too many major...

[UbuntuGnome] Re: Gnome extension "places" is missing

Have you tried going to extensions.gnome.org? It may be a simple matter of updating your version from there. Or you can fiddle with the metadata.json as described many times.

[ubuntu] Re: Nautilus not remaining same size!
