Not I. But I never give my email addy out. You might use a 'junk' email for any forum registrations (not your main mail) and then spam won't bother you as much. Gmail is good about identifying spam.

When setting up sharing in Windows there is a tick box in the 'allow all networks' section to remember password. You enter it once in ubuntu and don't have to enter again.
When you chose your version to download, did you choose Windows Installer version?
