    I'm haveing a similar issue. I tried to set up a static address for Mythtv, but when I did, Firefox then failed to "find" any of my saved searches. I was able to connect to my router (192.168.0.1).

    In my case, that is a great description. I am new to Linux, my programming background is highschool fortran, some switch throwing on 8080's, and BASIC programming in the early 80's.
