I'm running wine 1.3. Tried uploading some stuff today and it's still not taking it...
I'll have to play around with this this weekend to get it to work...
ah, well.
Kilbasar: Thanks for the files. Music Manager now works :-) Unfortunately, I'm unable to upload any music. I keep getting an error saying the servers are down. Oh, well.
Between Amazon Cloud,...
Has anyone been able to get the Amazon Music Cloud uploader to work under wine? I was able to get it installed, but when I start it, all I get is the it saying 'loading' and won't actually start..
Yes, suspend works with this workaround, but one cannot run any higher visual effects like Compiz. I've tried and it's painful to say the least. If the nomodset is removed then Compiz effects can be...
Yes, it is.
Weird.
Not thrilled or really upset with it. It's just...there...I'm a little bummed suspend/hibernate no longer works on my laptop (it didn't in Lucid either), and my desktop keyboard and mouse will stop...
I was looking for a ripper, too today since Rubyripper has slowed to a crawl with updating to Maverick (Tried some of the tricks I saw here on this forum, ie updating ruby, etc but I couldn't get it...
I also like Guayadeque, but have found that I'm using Clementine more and more. It's based on Amarok 1.4 which I loved. It seems light on resources and has a pretty simple interface. Here's their...
Hoping I'm not the only one having this problem:
Issue Using a Microsoft wireless natural keyboard and mouse. Clicking Ctrl+t in any program that allows one to open more tabs, such as Firefox, a...
There is something on launchpad already. Here are a few I've found: https://bugs.launchpad.net/udev/+bug/637208, and here's a thread on these forums with possible solutions:...
I just figured out what is causing this for me. Clicking Ctrl+t in nautilus or Firefox, or anything. When I turn on the computer, open up a browser, nautilus, whatever program allows me to open a new...
I have this problem, too, on an old Dell Dimension 8200 desktop computer. Started in 10.04. I'm using a Microsoft, natural, multi-media wireless keyboard and mouse. There are lots of threads on here...
Thought I'd just add to the woes here. Thinkpad R40, tried all fixes in this thread and throughout the forum and nothing worked. Didn't work on 10.04 either. Don't really want to go back to 9.10, but...
I'm glad I found this. I was having this same problem in 10.04 which I had upgraded to about two months ago, but I thought it was just me needing a new mouse and keyboard. A battery exploded in my...
I was just beginning to look to see if Turbo Lister works on Ubuntu, yet...since I'm getting ready to sell a ton of stuff...Guess it doesn't yet..
I did find Jaolt:...
Good news. There's going to be an OTA updated for all N1's this week. Starting today. Multi-touch will be enabled in all apps, I guess, as well as a fix for the 3G problems people are having.

...I wonder how this is going to play out:

Fujitsu has a device already called the iPad from 2002.
I'm happy with Deluge. I like the features and it's easy to use. Second fave is Transmission.
Wouldn't mind something like an iPad--just nothing made by Apple (I don't hate them or anything..They're just overpriced and I don't like how they seem to lock a user in to some of the software....
Ooo! I had not seen that before. I like.
The iPad looks like it'd be awesome for little kids with learning apps and fun games for them..
I can also see how it'd be very useful for textbooks. Man. I wish I had had something like this when...
Haven't other companies tried a tablet/laptop type computer, where the monitor can flip around and one can use it as a tablet, while still having a keyboard attached?
I guess we just needed Apple...
I wouldn't buy this myself. Especially since it's a 1st generation.
There will be other companies which will be making similar devices in the future with better specs and be cheaper. I'd feel...
Books, magazines, newspapers. I think this tablet will be perfect for those types of things. The book app looks fabulous, actually.
This may help revitalize the magazine & newspaper industries.
