Just in case, I found a simple fix for the sound problem - you're probably not configured properly for Fallout 2. Under Wine configuration, make sure you're using the ALSA driver.

Unfortunately, I've stumbled into some trouble with k9copy. The program is fantastic, but as noted it sometimes can lack integration - for those of us who aren't true wizards, it can be a challenge....
