I ran into the same thing, except they attempted for an hour before denyhosts daemon blocked it. :-|

Re: Are there any nice IDEs for Clang?

I don't know about gui, but you can download clang and compile it http://clang-analyzer.llvm.org/scan-build.html

  8. [kubuntu] Re: ubuntu making me relogin over and over when i go into hotmail

Nevermind. I just saw zappadragon having the same issue and thought it was his thread. You should probably check whether or not it may be a video driver issue, if you are on flash intensive sites and...

I have the same problem with bootchart. My computer definitely boots much faster than what bootchart is reporting. It reports double if not more than the real boot time.
  13. Re: Blatant security flaw much?

This thread is a joke. I am sorry so many of you are uncomfortable keeping your computer in your own hands. Here is what I do with my computers.

  14. Re: Blatant security flaw much?

Although it does feel disconcerting at first, I got used to putting the system on guest or locking it before leaving the computer and/or handing it to someone. I suppose it is your machine so for me...

  18. [ubuntu] Re: 180.22 Nvidia Drivers. Major Problems. I goofed.

  19. [ubuntu] Re: 180.22 Nvidia Drivers. Major Problems. I goofed.

I don't know too much about the differences. I am sure you can read through the release notes for them at the nvidia site. As for them not having it in the repos is because they only put them in...
  20. [ubuntu] Re: 180.22 Nvidia Drivers. Major Problems. I goofed.

Well Roasted, I think the 180 drivers may help you with the video tearing. If you want to install a version of 180 drivers there is one in the intrepid-updates. System->Administration->Software...
  21. [ubuntu] Re: Internal mic not working after Ubuntu 8.10 upgrade
