After fiddling with lots of stuff in the makefile, I fixed it, but I don't know exactly how.
when I try to compile my project with SFML, this appears and the process stops:

My problem is that when I delete all the object and executable files that the makefile makes, the makefile still does nothing.
I just found a makefile tutorial, I tried it, and it worked.
Now, 2 days later, whenever I try to make a makefile, it outputs that there is nothing to be done for that file. What happened?

My computer gives no sign that usb drives exist when they are plugged in.
The media folder is empty, auto mount is on, and I have tried using multiple usb drives in ports that work with the mouse....
Unless there is some better way to quickly open xterm?
I had the desktop version of ubuntu installed on my netbook previously. Then I got the 11.04 update which changed my desktop to what I think is the netbook version of ubuntu, which I highly dislike....
