    Quake3 - couldn't exec autoexec.cfg ?!

    I have installed quake3 in my home directory. no prob there.

    The (no)sound problem was due to my onboard ac97 sound card, put in a sounblaster live card, voila! sound. So thats ok now too....

    hmm not really. in game it works fine most of the time but in konsole for instance (not that im going to be using these mousebuttons inthere) they act like copy-past somehow.

    Both actions do nothing.

    cat /etc/btnx/btnx.log gives no errors but the file doesn't get updated and it's empty

    sudo ./btnx gives:
    Did not find additional event handlers.
    No startup errors
    ...
