hello , i am new to ubuntu and i want to have conky running on my desk, how do i make it stay ontop of the wallpaper? and not in a window, like it is now if i am in terminal and type "conky" it pop's...

Yesterday I installed Ubuntu on my "top of the line" iMac 24 inch that you can buy now from apple.

It went good with bootcamp. But I could not get the graphics or sound to work. I tried...

Okay. I have deleted it, couse i didnt get any help. :(
But i think i might test it again later on, could be good to know before i install ubuntu via bootcamp, how i am supposed to get everything...

I dont know what ive done, as far as i know - nothing. it wont work anymore with desktop effects. :( any ideas?

it says that the driver is installed, and i can even see that it says "is in use"...

It did the trick with what i first got help with.
I now have nvidia working here. With desktop effects. :D thanks!
Now if only i could get the iMac's sound to work I would have everything working...
