Been on Flash 10, and VMware is not the problem. It has to be something with either the new Server kernel (which I'm only using because I have 4gb RAM) or something with the latest Intel driver.
Has anyone else been running Intrepid? I've noticed very poor video performance. Full screen flash is terrible and actually blinks and pauses, and vmware performance is also terrible. This is with...
When trying your package I get:
jesse@e6300:~/systems$ sudo dpkg -i banshee-1_0.98.2~hyperbuntu0_i386.deb
Selecting previously deselected package banshee-1.

Hey guys, all the packages installed fine on my Gutsy install, but all I see when I add the applet is the labels on the task bar and no MacMenu. What am I missing here and why do I see this question...
Count me in!
This package did work, however I'm pretty disappointed to see the splash screen still doesn't work, and Listen still cannot read track numbers from .m4a files. I've e-mailed the developer about this...
Hey guys, I am also trying to get .51 installed. Is there really no .deb for it? when trying this I get:
jesse@e6300:~$ sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-dev

Again, READ THE WHOLE THREAD! It's like 2 posts above! ^^
Well yes, it says above
That's the name of the file. So do:
sudo gedit /usr/bin/listen
and change the line:

ONE MORE EDIT!
I did put my .listen-test back and the new Listen appears to work fine with it, but it needs to be copied from .listen-test to .listen. Hope this helps!
EDIT TO ABOVE!
I figured it out, it's on the Listen FAQ: http://www.listen-project.org/wiki/Faq
I had to change my /usr/bin/listen from:
python -OO /usr/lib/listen/listen.py "$@"
to
Here's what I did:
sudo apt-get build-dep listen
That should grab most of the dependencies. Then I tried this:
make
Same problem here too. Frostwire connected fine on Dapper.
mlind, any chance on updating your repo with .11?
Oh yeah, I had that too and I forgot to add it. You need mscompress:
sudo apt-get install mscompress
should take care of it. I'll add it to the original post.
Ok, you REALLY should add to the first page, if your boot partition is on a seperate partition, that you should do:
find /grub/stage1
and you should add
/grub/message.suse
After over a year working with Ubuntu and the Laserjet 1320, I've come to realize that both the Postscript driver and the HPLIP driver have problems. The postscript driver doesn't print more than...
Music Applet.
Yeah it is kinda odd. I'm not sure why I had to do that.
Well I've been in contact with the developer for quite some time working with him and abock on the crashes so hopefully we'll have it...
I compiled Banshee and banshee-plugins-official both from the latest cvs. I cannot compile the podcast plugin at all, I have to throw --disable-podcast, just like was in the tutorial above. When I...
I wanted to let everyone know Splashy has some big bugs. The most prominent being that you randomly get switched to tty1 (non graphical terminal). Irt's being worked on, amd you can see the progress...
