This is a less destructive way:

    echo "update albums set image=NULL where image='nocover';" | sqlite3 ~/.exaile/music.db

    ..... assuming you've installed sqlite3.

Turn the volume down in Exaile itself, and turn it up on the hardware. This should take care of the problem.
  9. New blog that might be of interest to vim users from the author of Exaile

Sounds like you've got a seriously messed up sources.list. This is what happens when you put non-official repos in there.

Re: Exaile .deb install requires the removal of 33 packages!

Definitely sounds like your sources.list is jacked up (or it used to be), or you had some non-official repos in there at some point.

iPod support is built in to 0.2.8, you don't need a plugin. If you don't see an iPod tab on the left, then you need to install the python-gpod package.

UMS players will be supported in the next version, although the functionality is more the result of a proof of concept. It's much easier just to add the mount point to your collection list, this way...

You'll have to wipe out your database and rescan. The schema has changed a lot... there will be a converter, but not until I think the schema won't change anymore.
