Search:

open terminal
sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
add blacklist rt2800pci to the bottom of file
save
exit, reboot
everything should work.

very true that the industry uses adobe suites however doing the same does not stop you within a linux environment, the programs on linux gimp, inkscape etc can all be read by adobe's software.
