    From Nautilus I can access shares on a NAS device mounted on my local PC. I can add/ edit and delete files using Nautilus, a shell etc.. I suspect I have mounted the shares correctly.

    I have changed MOBOs in the past without too many problems and rebooted from existing hard disk drives. The main trick is to drop the video display back to something basic before making the change....
