I watched the Braves beat the Nationals today. Opened with flash in FF4, (Minefield) Ubuntu 10.10, 64 bit. It took it a while to start, but after that it played fine. Getting a Roku box next week...
My flash version is 10.0 r45.
I'm using 10.10, 64bit flash, chromium-browser, GEForce 9500 GT video, i5 CPU,and it played for me. At first, the picture quality was poor but after a few seconds it cleared up.
It already reads [windowmanager, panel, filemanager]so that's not it:(
Thanks for trying, Brandon. Hope someone else comes in on this thread soon. Its not really a big deal. I can always just...
You know that most videos on YouTube, more everyday are being converted, can now be viewed with the embedded viewer in html5 in supported browsers.
Does not require flash. Works great....

Maverick solved a problem for me that I could not fix in Lucid. So I have already made the switch. Maverick is running beautifully on my machine.
Just for information, YouTube no longer requires flash. You can view videos on YouTube with the new HTML5 viewer. Go here and opt in to the viewer.

I have no problems with Gameday Audio Lite. I listen to it every day the Braves are playing. I sure miss the old days when almost all of their games were on TBS.
The only glitch I have is that,...
Care to enlighten us? What did you hear? What is the source?
Try kmymoney2. Works a lot like Quicken. It's in the repositories.
I warned you. Do it all over again. First remove network-manager and do not reinstall it. I'm going to bed.
Great. You see, what was causing the problem was that eth0 already had a PID left over from when it was previously connected and that was preventing it from obtaining a new DHCP IP address. By...
OK, try this.
sudo ifdown eth0
sudo ifup --force eth0
sudo start networking
Do you now have a connection? What is the output of
ifconfig
