But the tutorial had it that way...
Okay, it made "a.out" but it won't open by double clicking on it or right click "execute" so I opened the terminal and typed in "a.out" and it says this:
It says the latest version is installed.
sudo apt-get install build-essential

Whenever I try to compile "Hello.c" it says:
Hello.c:1:20: error: stdio.h: No such file or directory

What exactly do you want to change? The theme changes it to, so if you want, say, "clearlooks" which is bright and cheery, then you go into "Applications>Settings>Settings Manager" and click "User...
Ooh, even better, none! Although, I have figured out how(Well, my brother, found a post here.) and I set mine to 999. I guess I'll now do never.(Something my brother read says it doesn't do anything...
Well you could always just install normal Ubuntu. Just uninstall Kubuntu and you'd be fine. Although you probably wouldn't want to do that... But, hey, reinstall is the easy option on every problem.
No, it's not an attempt to troll, he said to post it here.
My brother, who's the nerd of the family, said it wouldn't do anything since we used Wubi. But would it? We reinstalled again today...
How do I increase the forced fsck mount number? My brother says "'Cause then we won't have the 24 mount problem, will have the 50,000 mount problem. And no Linux distro ever lasts that long."
Yeah, I use XFCE(As the prefix says.) and looked on XFCE-look but only found "Leopard-round" which didn't work for me, too round. But now it doesn't matter since I got the Mac4lin ones to work.
It worked! Thanks!
Yeah, I downloaded Mac4lin from SF. Can you tell me which ones are xfwm4s? And steps to sue metacity period, since I'm obviously doing it wrong. It showed up last install.
Anyone know a good OS X xfwm4 theme? I have Leopard round but it looks a little weird. Also the Mac4Lin metacity theme doesn't appear in window manager, it's in .themes.
Nevermind, I just reinstalled.
If you're talking to me, then: There is no partition, go see my new thread in this same forum. Also, I can't boot from live CD 'cause we don't know how to make this computer boot from CD.(HP A305W.)
You're absolutely sure it's that simple?
Ok, well, I figure just like in the FG forums if I post my problem here I'll get more help than general help, so, here it is, we've also now got the exact error message:
checking root file...
Bump. Please help!
Mine also booted into a maintenance shell though, do you know how to run it from theere? Our problem really is we don't know the command, so my brother says "What should we type"?
P.S. This guy has the same problem as me, but he never said how he fixed it, only that he did.
Ok, thanks I'll try it when I have it back up and running...
So, how'd you fix it?
How did you fix it? I have the exact same problem except 24 mounts.
