    I have 13.10, and nope, even Gparted won't let me format the drive, the option is kinda greyed out.
    And the file system for that drive is ext4.

    Sorry, don't quite know what you mean by that, very new to Ubuntu.

    okay so, I just installed Ubuntu on a fresh 160gb hard drive, it installed fine without problems, but here's my situatuation, and it's a weird one.
    So, basically, in my computer, there are 3 hard...
