Login now works so all I can assume is "finger trouble"

Just installed 17.10
All went well I selected to erase the disk
Asked for use and password.
Both passwords agreed and it said good password.
Finished and rebooted.

I have a DLNA smart TV.
Well it's a Sony Bravia which I got around the time that Smart TVs were starting.
So it's a bit of a Dumb Smart TV.
Anyway I can do the DLNA playto from my Windows 7...
Ran the .sh script. It didn't seem to report any problems.
But there were some entries in 'dmesg' about write errors.
Bought a new drive £49 ish.
Fitted it yesterday and it look OK, it's now back...

I have two 1T drives configured as a raid mirror
/dev/sdb1
/dev/sdc1
-----> /dev/md127
Worked OK for months.
However now when I copy vids to it the system fails sdc1 and runs degraded on sdb1....
Final solution was
New 160G disk formatted as 80G Vista/2G Linux Swap/78G Linux FS
Installed Vista and the Ununtu 12.10, it now dual boots into Ubuntu by default.
Installed mdadm in Ubuntu.
Shut...

Yes the two 1T drives are totally dedicated to the raid.
The 160G is not raid and will be a plain old Linux drive.
