    OK so do you know if these are the DNS servers that you should be using? Also, can you ping these servers?

    Try these:
    dig @192.168.1.1 google.com
    dig @192.168.2.1 google.com
    dig @8.8.8.8...

    mdadm /dev/md0 -a /dev/sda1

    Where /dev/sda1 is the partition you created on the replacement disk.

    OK, I think that "load pulse" has something to do with flow control, so I am guessing this has to be connected to RTS pin on the db connector. Guess I'll just give it a go!
