    Thank you xb12x2 for pointing that out. I found out an error in the firmware and I was not sending the correct value in the device descriptor. :)

    I'm using a DELL XPS 8300 with a i7.

    OS is Ubuntu 13.04.

    My fan is always running at full speed no matter what I do.
    lm-sensors and pwmconfig detect no fan.
