    Easiest way is to install Ubuntu Tweak from http://ubuntu-tweak.com/downloads/ which will give you an easy way to remove old kernels and maintain and clean your system. Hope this helps.

    and changing the line: load-module module-udev-detect
    to: load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0

    Sound will be OK after reboot.
